already from end of february to may we invite you to start your motorcycle season in the fantastic spring of Apulia, the very south of Italy. Enjoy the smell of almond blossoms , wineyards and olive cultures on a brand new F 800 GS or the special editioned R 1200 GS Triple Black.

Enjoy your first evening with a typical italian "cena" , a nice dinner in one of the traditional restaurants in the little harbour of Brindisi , very close to the famous "Via Appia", the romans "Queen of the streets" and the door to the oriental world. Marked by a byzantine column . 

It's up to you when you start your trip through the Salento, the south of Apulias wonderful landscape. We create with you a very individual tour, recommend you the best places around and support you with a 14 hours on call service.

Carrying on to Lecce you enter very soon Muro Leccese , a little baroque town in the heart of the Salento.

Here we have booked for you a B&B in an ancien Palazzo, a perfect base for your trips the next days.

Mario ( he is a dentist , just in case....) and Adriana, she's an architect, have prepared this "Palazzo Hanqorias "lovingly, always following the long history of this unique buildingin the center of Muro Leccese.

More than two thousand years ago when the romans worked hard to finish the "Via Appia" on their way to Byzantium , Taranto, placed on the Ionic coast , was already called "Paris of the ancient world"

The very busy people there had found out to use the slime of the purple snails living there millionfold in the "mare piccolo" to produce the unique colour of purple.

Kings , cardinals and other VIPs of the ancient world payed a lot of money for getting painted there robes ...good for Taranto !

Today it's a typical town of the italian "mezzo giorno" with high unemployment rates, wasted buildings and petty crime. But also with palm avenues and the charme of "dolce far niente.."

Anyway, a visit for half a day is an exiting experience and the sea shells "au gratin" in the "Trattoria al Pescatore" in the old harbour of Taranto you definitly will never forget for the rest of your life.  

A country of beauteousness and affection, familiar holidays with friends and the typical hospitality of the Latin south.
